I'm FINALLY Giving Away The Yoga for Back Pain Method I Used to Get My Life Back from Chronic Back Pain

If you're fed up of chronic back pain draining your energy and getting in the way of doing the things you love. This program is for you.

Discover all the tools you need to start on your recovery journey with Yoga for Back Pain.

In 2015 I was sitting in the doctor's waiting room in floods of tears...

I was crying partly because of the searing pain in my back, but also from the sheer frustration of yet another back pain flare up getting in the way of my plans... I was supposed to be flying out to Dublin the next day with my boyfriend for a weekend exploring the city.

I left that doctor's office with a stack of painkillers and no other support. Stubbornly refusing to miss the trip, I made the flight the next day but spent most of the weekend either spaced out on diazepam or lying on the hotel bed.

Pain killers gave some relief, but I knew they weren't a long term solution.

Over my 5 years of back pain misery, if I wasn't having an intensely painful flare up, my back was stiff, achy and prone to painful catches.

It stopped me seeing friends, doing the stuff I loved and made me a super grumpy girlfriend (sorry Ben).

I did everything I thought I was supposed to be doing... I had MRI scans, spent over £2000 seeing different physical therapists and specialists, spent hours doing core strengthening exercises and worked tirelessly to improve my posture.

The problem was: NONE of these popular strategies worked.

I had also just trained as a Yoga Teacher and was focussing my practise on working hard to strengthen and 'protect' my back. But that didn't get rid of my pain either.

Then, in 2018, everything changed. I took matters into my own hands and began reading up on the science of back pain.

What I discovered was TRULY SHOCKING... None of the common back pain strategies I'd been tireless using had any backing in the research. What's more, some even had the potential to make things worse!!!

Discovering there's no good evidence core strengthening cures back pain.

As I read more, I started to understand that pain is much complex than we're led to believe. It's not simply a measure of how much damage there is in a  body part.

Pain is, in fact, a MIND AND BODY process that needs a MIND AND BODY approach to recovery.

I began to change the way I practised yoga. I used shorter, gentler practices and gave myself the opportunity to go slowly and mindfully to desensitise chronic pain signals, rather than pushing through or trying to ignore my pain.

I also starting working on my mindset and challenging the ways I thought about my pain and my body. I know this sounds a bit 'woo woo', but the science says these factors are clearly linked to how much pain we feel and are hugely important for recovery.

I stopped doing tons of core exercises, relaxed about my posture and worked instead on building resilience and overall wellbeing using mindfulness and relaxation practices.

Fast forward to 2020 and I've been PAIN FREE for almost 2 years. I've had zero flare ups and even the constant aches and stiffness have gone. I didn't even have a flare up during three months of heavy DIY doing up a new flat last year with my now fiancé Ben.

It's like a huge weight has been lifted. I have more energy and feel stronger and more resilient than ever before.

Me, back pain free, travelling in Scotland in 2019.

Just imagine how different things would be if you got control of your back pain.

Imagine doing everything you love without pain getting in the way. Whether it's playing with your kids, going on holiday, dancing at parties, playing sports or just siting comfortably with a cup of tea and a good book.

Imagine getting your energy back and letting go of the constant worry of when your back is going to 'go' again.

I want other back pain sufferers to avoid making the mistakes I made and start feeling better as soon as possible. That's why I've put everything I've learnt on my journey into my online Yoga for Back Pain program.

Do I need to see my doctor before starting the videos?

Yes. As with any new exercise program, you should consult your physician before starting. It’s also vital your healthcare provider rules out other medical conditions that could be at play as, very rarely, back pain can be a symptom of another illness.

Please bear in mind that, unfortunately, some medical professionals still buy into outdated ideas about back pain and recovery - you'll find more guidance on this in your Recovery Guide ebook.

Should I see a physiotherapist (physical therapist) alongside the program?

Yes, I recommend seeing a good physiotherapist alongside this program. A well-trained physio can look at your individual movement patterns and give personalised advice. However, please bear in mind that not all physiotherapists are as clued up on back pain as you'd hope. I've seen numerous physios who did more harm than good. You'll find more guidance on this in your Recovery Guide ebook.

Do I need lots of spare time to do the program?

No. The yoga practices are short (30mins each) so you can fit them in around your schedule.

The Recovery Guide ebook is approximately an hour of reading time.

I have a specific diagnosis, is this program for me?

This program is primarily designed for those with non-specific chronic back pain. Those with specific conditions (e.g. scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, arthritis) may also benefit from the course, however they should follow this program alongside the advice of a doctor/ physical therapist.

I've never done yoga before, is that ok?

Of course! This program is 100% suitable for those who have never done yoga before.

How do I access the course content?

After purchasing, you'll receive your log in details by email (check your spam if they don't arrive). You'll be able to use these to log in to the YFBP members site where you can access all the resources. You can also download the content to your device if you wish to use the videos offline.

I've been in pain for a long time, will the program still help me?

I had back pain for over 5 years and I still managed to get out of pain using this method.

How long will it take for my pain to go away?

Everyone's pain is different, so timescales do vary. Most people feel some benefits as soon as they start the program. I'm so confident in the plan that if you haven't felt any relief within 28 days you can request a full refund by emailing: info@annieknapmanyoga.co.uk

Do I need any equipment?

All you need to do the yoga practices are: a yoga/exercise mat, a cushion or folded blanket and a chair. Some people may find a belt or exercise band useful to provide extra reach in certain poses.

How long do I have access to the resources for?

After purchasing, you have lifetime access to the YFBP content. There is no recurring fee.
