There’s an exciting and ever-growing body of research supporting the benefits of mindfulness. This powerful practice can increase our resilience, help us manage stress and improve our ability to regulate moods and emotions.
Studies also show links between mindfulness and productivity, concentration, creativity, sleep quality and memory. There’s even encouraging evidence for its use in treating conditions like chronic pain, anxiety, depression and PTSD.
Experience mindfulness for yourself in this 1.5 hr workshop – scheduled as a moment to pause and take stock before the Christmas madness kicks in.
We’ll delve into the core concepts underpinning mindfulness and understand how to use simple mindfulness methods to boost health and happiness.
Our discussion will be interspersed with short practices including mindful movement and guided meditations. By the end of the session, you’ll have a toolkit of techniques at your disposal as well as an understanding of how to incorporate these into everyday life.
No prior mindfulness experience or knowledge is necessary. For those who already their own mindfulness practice, this would be a great opportunity to hone skills and discover new ways to practise.
